The landscape of Le Marche is unmistakably reminiscent of Tuscany and Umbria. Beach, countryside & mountains. Lively bustle & absolute tranquillity. Olives & grapes. Culinary & cultural highs. Le Marche is the epitome of the whole of Italy in a single region.
For those who are looking for an untouched piece of Italy, you are certainly in the right place!
Le Marche (The Marches) is a region in central Italy on the Adriatic Sea. It is bordered to the north by Emilia-Romagna and the republic of San Merino, to the west by Tuscany and Umbria, to the southwest by Lazio and Abruzzo in the south.
Similar to Tuscany, but without the plethora of tourist shops. Here you will find the real Italy. Besides the typically vast, sandy Italian beaches, you will also find the magnificent cliffs of Conero, with many idyllic small coves awaiting your discovery. The hilly interior is decorated with the beautiful colours of the olive groves and vineyards. A masterful painting with dynamic colour changes with every season.
Cingoli is one of the most beautiful medieval towns of Italy. As you go for a stroll down the many narrow cobblestone streets, you will discover various shops with freshly made pastas, you can enjoy a real coffee in a typical café or eat a delicious wood-fired pizza in one of the many restaurants.
Cingoli is nicknamed "Balcone delle Marche" (Balcony of the Marches) for its panoramic location with magnificent views over the surrounding landscape.
The house "Monnece 11" is named after the small hamlet Monnece, which lies amidst the unspoiled Italian countryside.
